Phil Brown ahead of Coventry...
Blues boss Phil Brown believes a win tomorrow night can put their season back on track.
The 2-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers on Saturday extended Blues’ winless streak to three games.
But Brown expects to see a response from his side away to Coventry City on Tuesday night.
“It’s about putting a marker down for the rest of the season,” said Brown.
“I don’t think we’re walking into a last chance saloon by any stretch of the imagination but the way we performed, and more importantly have been performing in the first half of the last three or four games is unacceptable.
“We’ve given ourselves mountains to climb and on Saturday it was too much of a mountain to climb and consequently we didn’t climb it.
“Afterwards there were a few harsh words in the changing room, firstly by myself and then more importantly by the players. I’m hopefully going to put it right tomorrow night.
“We’ll have a game plan to play football in the right areas of the pitch and that’s the key factor to getting a win tomorrow night. We have to earn the right to play and make sure that the opposition is nullified.”
