Job Description

Job Title:  Business Administration Apprenticeship (Data Input)

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week              Salary: Apprentice salary

Location: Southend United Football Club

Responsible to: Southend United Community and Educational Trust (SUCET) Community Manager (Quality & Impact)

Main Purpose: To support the Community Manager (Quality & Impact) in providing, capturing and reporting relevant information regarding SUCET’s operations 

Key Responsibilities

1. Communication and Working Relationships

1.1 Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers.

1.2 Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient customer service.

1.3 Welcome customers promptly and warmly and answer telephone queries

2. Planning and Organisation

2.1 Arrive in good time and be well prepared for the days work

2.2 Be aware of current promotions and targets to be able to promote at all opportunities.

2.3 Work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.

3. Administration

3.1 Maintain records as required.

3.2 Be aware of and adhere to Standard Operation Procedures at all times.

3.3 Carry out daily cleaning duties

3.4 Key responsibility for capturing, inputting and extracting qualitative and quantitative information from SUCET’s M&E system

4. Finance and Resources

4.1 Report low supplies to colleagues.

4.2 Where required, cash up following set procedures.

4.3 Provide excellent customer service to maximise sales.

5. Supervision and Leadership

5.1 Ensure a high level of personal customer service in all dealings.

5.2 Promote a customer focused culture by example, providing a professional, friendly and courteous service to all customers.

5.3 Promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment, adhere to all statutory requirements.

5.4 Act as an ambassador for Southend Utd Football Club.

6. Policy and Research

6.1 Be aware of SUCET’s activities to be able to discuss them competently with customers.

7. General

7.1 Promote anti-discriminatory practices in all work undertaken.

7.2 Have an understanding of the work and aims of SUCET.

7.3 Undertake training and development relevant to the role.

Carry out duties in accordance with the employing agency equal opportunities policy, information security policies, financial regulations and the Health and Safety at work Act

Special conditions:

Keep records of financial spend and maintain records, statistics and information, both quantitative and qualitative, for monitoring purposes and contribute to the on-going development of the organisation

The post holder will be required to work some evening and weekends as the requirements of the job demands

Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the post

Job Title:  Business Administration Apprenticeship (Receptionist)

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week               Salary: Apprentice salary

Responsible to: Southend United Community and Educational Trust (SUCET) Community Manager (Quality & Impact)

Main Purpose: To provide receptionist support to SUCET by completing administrative tasks that supports the needs of the business and to support the Community Manager (Quality & Impact)  in providing, capturing and reporting relevant information regarding SUCET’s operations

Key Responsibilities

1. Communication and Working Relationships

1.1 Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers

1.2 Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient customer service
