"We've got a score to settle"...
Blues boss Phil Brown has had two opportunities to watch Fleetwood following a Saturday off last weekend.
Brown headed to Coventry and watched Saturday's opponents win 1-0 before the Cod Army’s game at Sheffield United in midweek where they were 2-0 winners.
Uwe Rosler’s side are in great form, winning their last five and going 11 league games unbeaten.
And Brown is expecting an intriguing battle between two in form sides. He also expects a completely different performance than the reverse fixture in August which ended in a 2-0 defeat.
“We’ve got a score to settle in that in no uncertain terms they disposed of us,” he said. “I mean that – they disposed of us. They won the game quite comfortably.
“Going back to that tactical battle, hopefully we’ll have something up our sleeve with regards to how we’re going to play on Saturday.
“A draw wouldn’t be a bad result because they’re a team in form. But for sure we’re going up there to win the game.
“The surface is conducive to football, there will be plenty of footballers out there and we’ll be trying to play the kind of football that we know we can play to try and win the game.
“We’ll have opportunities, we have to be defensively sound. They’ve got a new strike force with the lad [Wes] Burns they’ve just brought in.
“He had 65 minutes against Sheffield United and they changed the two strikers from Saturday and won the game which is interesting. Who the two strikers will be I’m not too sure because he [Uwe Rosler] does believe in fresh legs and making changes, not just for changing sake but for three games in a week.
“Whatever comes out of their changing room will be dangerous but they know whatever’s coming out of our changing room will be dangerous as well.”
