Striker looking forward to new challenge
Frank Nouble hopes to “add to the firepower already in the squad”, after signing for Blues on Wednesday.
The former West Ham and Ipswich striker is likely to come into the squad for Saturday’s big game against Bolton Wanderers.
And he said he’s excited to be linking up with Phil Brown’s squad.
“There was a possibility of me coming here before I went to Gillingham so I think the manager is already aware and kept up to date with what I was doing whilst I was at Gillingham.
“When that came to an end the opportunity came up to train here for a couple of days and the manager and the club decided that we could do a deal until the end of the season.
“I’m happy to be here and to add to the firepower that we already have.
“There wasn’t any doubt in my mind to come here. The team is firing and doing really well. I know six or seven of the players already and I’ve played against most of them in my career.
“I played with Woody at Ipswich and he spoke really highly about the club.
“It was a no brainer once I got here and saw what it was like and now I’m delighted to have signed.”
