Blues complete the signing of striker Theo Robinson...
Southend United are delighted to announce the return of Theo Robinson for a second spell at Roots Hall, signing a two-and-a-half year deal with Blues.
The deal to bring the striker back was made just in the nick of time, going through at 10.58pm.
Robinson was previously on loan at Blues from Watford in 2009 where he enjoyed a successful end to the 2008/09 season, scoring seven goals.
Most recently the 28-year-old has been part of Lincoln City's FA Cup heroics, helping the Imps reach the FA Cup fifth round with five goals.
His 85th minute goal on Saturday against Brighton comes after two goals against Ipswich Town at Portman Road in the previous round and a brace against Oldham in the second round.
Next up Blues face Scunthorpe United at home on Saturday in which Robinson could make his second Blues debut.
