Nouble latest addition to Phil Brown's squad...
Southend United are delighted to announce the signing of Frank Nouble until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old joins Blues on a free transfer having just completed a short spell at fellow Sky Bet League One side Gillingham.
The striker began his professional career at West Ham United in 2009 before leaving to join Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2012.
After a couple of seasons at Molineux, he moved onto Ipswich Town where game time became more frequent, making 60 appearances in three seasons, the third season being spent mainly on loan at Coventry City.
The Sky Blues then snapped up the former England U19 international on a permanent deal in 2014, but a season later he left for Chinese League One side Tianjin Quanjian before his move back to England with Gillingham.
He joined the Gills in October and went on to make 13 appearances, scoring three goals.
