Coker on his return to the team and Millwall...
Defender Ben Coker is relishing the chance to follow up last week's 'scalp' of Scunthorpe when Blues take on Millwall at The Den tomorrow.
Blues moved above Rochdale in the Sky Bet League One standings following the 3-1 win over the Iron.
However, Millwall are on an eight game unbeaten run in the league and a fantastic Cup run and have the chance to overtake Blues if they get the three points.
After a tough run of games, Coker is aware that there are still more tough challenges ahead, starting tomorrow afternoon.
“We’ve had a mad period of games” he said. "I know it’s a cliché, but every game is a big game.
“It obviously doesn’t get much bigger than Millwall away. Saturday was a massive scalp for us and I think that just sets the tone for what we want to do.
“We really want to push on and get as close to the top two as we possibly can.
“I love the big games and Millwall away is about as big as it gets. Our fans are going to be in full force and it’s going to be a great game and a great occasion."
Coker has battled back from injury and slotted straight back in the starting XI.
But he says he has had to hit the ground running, because of the fine form Blues are in.
“I’ve worked really hard and that hard work has got me back in the team. Tims did a great job whilst I was out but I’ve got back in and tried to continue what the guys have been doing.
“I wasn’t thinking about if I would get back in the team, I was just happy that he was playing well and we were winning games.
“If you come back into a team that’s losing that isn’t good for anyone really.
“I was just buzzing we kept winning and kept the run going and it means when I came back I couldn’t let my performance dip.”
