Plymouth Argyle: Kids For A Quid

15 August 2017

Ticket details for the game against Plymouth Arygle...

Southend United’s second Sky Bet League One game at Roots Hall is against another side to enter the division for 2017/18.

After the win over Blackburn Rovers on the first day of the season and Saturday’s upcoming away trip to Rotherham United, Plymouth Argyle are the visitors to complete a trio of opening games against newcomers.

The game is also our first kids for a quid game of the season, and we are anticipating another bumper crowd.

The Pilgrims have recently returned to the third tier of English football following their second place finish in League Two last season.

Former Coventry attacking midfielder Ruben Lameiras has arrived over the summer, Joel Grant was brought in from rivals Exeter City, whilst they still have the influential Graham Carey who scored 15 goals last season.

Blues will be hoping to put another stylish performance in to build on the win over Blackburn.

For every Blues home game up until 30th September, we are donating £1 from every adult ticket sold to the British Red Cross Grenfell Tower relief fund. For more information on Blues' support for the Grenfell Tower victims click here.
