Job Title: Community Coach
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week Salary: Competitive salary
Location: Southend United Football Club
Responsible to: Southend United Community and Educational Trust (SUCET) Participation Officers
To lead in the development and delivery of the highest quality participation programmes to people living in South East Essex
Effectively supervise, mentor and direct support staff, volunteers and apprentices
Lead a team of coaches and to deliver the highest quality PE and School Sport within the designated fan base area
Be the lead coach for extra curricular activities including after school clubs
Develop and deliver in house training to community coaches to ensure and maintain the highest quality of delivery
Develop, implement and manage activities on SouthendUnitedSoccerSchools and match days
Be responsible for capturing, monitoring and evaluation for identified projects
Support the marketing of all participation programmes
Liaise with participation officer for projects to ensure a coordinated approach to school engagement
Contribute to developing and maintaining effective and positive working relationships with key stakeholders
Carry out duties in accordance with the employing agency equal opportunities policy, information security policies, financial regulations and the Health and Safety at work Act
Keep records of financial spend and maintain records, statistics and information, both quantitative and qualitative, for monitoring purposes and contribute to the on-going development of the organisation
The post holder will be required to work some evening and weekends as the requirements of the job demands
Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the post
