A look at three Blackburn Rovers threats...
Dominic Samuel became Blackburn’s fourth summer signing this season, signing from Reading.
He started in Reading’s U23 squad before moving through the ranks and playing for their first team on 11th December 2012 in a 3-0 away defeat to Sunderland.
He spent most of his time on loan while at Reading and played for Colchester, Dagenham & Redbridge, Coventry, Gillingham and Ipswich.
Bradley Dack was another summer addition, after joining from fellow League One side Gillingham for a fee around £750,000 plus add-ons.
Dack has spent his whole career with Gillingham but went out on loan for a month to National League side Braintree Town on 1st January 2013. He made over 180 appearances for the Kent side.
He featured against Blues in both 3-1 home defeats in the two opening games of the season, one game in League One and the other in an EFL Cup game.
Dack was voted League One Player of the Year for the 2015/16 season after an impressive 15 goals in 44 games.
David Raya is Blackburn’s new number one this season.
During the 2014/15 season he was sent out on a season-long loan to Conference side Southport and made 19 appearances while at the club.
After a number of impressive first team appearances the following season, Raya proved to be excellent competition for first team keeper Jason Steele.
An injury blow to fellow keeper Jason Steele meant Martin was back in the starting XI and for the last five games of last season he was played and kept three clean sheets and only conceded twice.
