MATCH PREVIEW | McGlashan looking to gain momentum v Posh

29 September 2016

Midfielder previews Peterborough United...

Jermaine McGlashan sees the game against Peterborough United as the perfect opportunity to gain some momentum following Tuesday’s win over Oxford United.

Blues face Posh on Saturday (3pm kick off) looking to make it four straight wins in all competitions at Roots Hall.

Now McGlashan is hoping Blues can find that consistency needed to start working their way up the table.

“It was good to have Tuesday’s game to get over Northampton.

“We kept the same system and it was good win with good character shown as well.

“When you’re down there (in the table) things seem to go against you, but we just have to graft it out, try and get back-to-back wins and gain some momentum now.

“I think the way we are playing at the moment suits me, playing in a front three where I can get in there and show some energy and I’m enjoying it.

“Peterborough have got a good set-up, but at home we look alright at the minute and I think the fans are starting to enjoy the way we are pressing and are playing and I think it’s a massive game Saturday.

“We’re desperate to build on it now, we’ve got that win on Tuesday but now like I say it’s about gaining momentum.”
