Phil Brown gives his thoughts ahead of Gigg Lane visit
Phil Brown has asked for his players to bring a similar type of performance to the one at MK Dons a few weeks back, at Bury this weekend.
Blues ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at Stadium MK but haven't recorded a win since, drawing with Shrewsbury Town and losing to Millwall and Stevenage.
The Blues boss is hoping for a return to winning ways against the Shakers on Saturday.
"Bury have lost six on the bounce and that in itself suggests confidence will be fragile, but it's not going to be easy," he said. "It never is.
"He's [David Flitcroft] got a whole list of injuries which is probably why he's going through this hard time, but whenever you've got somebody having a hard time you've got to put your foot on their throat as it were. That's what we've got to do.
"We're coming into a period leading up to Christmas where we've got eight games but none are more important than the first one on that list of eight, which is Bury.
"We've got to bring our best game to the table, there's no doubt about it.
"Defensively as we did do at MK Dons and attacking as we did do at MK Dons.
"That kind of performance for me will get the three points."
