Defender discusses the final game of the seasonSouthend United defender, Piotr Malarczyk is hoping to sign off from his loan at Blues with a win against Bury this weekend.
The Blues face the Shakers at Gigg Lane looking to surpass the 60-point mark and finish a solid first season back in Sky Bet League 1.
Malarczyk, who joined the club on loan from Ipswich Town in March, made his first appearance for Phil Brown’s side in the narrow 1-0 defeat to Bradford City last time out.
The Polish centre-half was pleased with the team’s performance that day, and will be looking to go one better at Bury to end an enjoyable loan for the 24-year-old.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here.” He said.
“The last game was really tough and were unlucky not to get some points from that game.
“I thought we were the better team, so I can be happy with our performance.
“I think everyone here wants to help the team, and help themselves.
“So it’s really important for us to play, and I think every player here on loan wants to show what they can do.”
