Blues fans to cycle to Amsterdam in aid of Prostate Cancer UK

Nine Southend United fans and Blues' Chief Executive, Steve Kavanagh will be embarking on a strenuous cycle ride from London to Amsterdam in June in aid of Prostate Cancer UK – The official charity partner of the Football League.

The arduous 150-mile journey will take place over three days (3rd - 5th June)  and is in recognition of a disease which now affects 1 in 8 men in the UK.

The team have raised over £13,500 so far – the third highest amount raised by any of the London to Amsterdam teams. Steve Kavanagh is second in the individual table with over £3,500 raised.

Joining Steve in flying the Blues flag to Amsterdam are; Simon Bryant, Riyan Dublin, Roy (Jay) Flemming, Alex Grocott, Michael Markscheffel, Gavin Markscheffel, Jarek Mankus, Joseph Rutter and Brad Warren.
