Prosser departs Roots Hall for SixfieldsSouthend United defender, Luke Prosser has today joined League Two side Northampton Town on loan until the end of the season when his current contract at Southend United expires.
The defender has made 16 appearances for the Blues this season, scoring two goals.
Prosser has been at Roots Hall since 2010, making over 100 league appearances for the club.
The player joins up with a Northampton side who currently sit top of the League Two standings on 58 points.
Prosser could be in line to make his debut for Chris Wilder’s side in the Cobblers next game on Saturday 6th February; a home fixture against York City.
