Jamar Loza returns to Roots HallSouthend United are pleased to announce the signing of Jamar Loza from Norwich City, on loan until the end of the season with a view to permanent transfer in the summer.
The striker made seven appearances for the Blues in a previous spell at the club in 2014, and has spent a period on trial at the club this month.
Loza has been capped four times for the Jamaican National Team and has scored once in six appearances since coming through the youth ranks at Carrow Road.
Phil Brown was clearly pleased to bring Loza into the squad "I've worked with Jamar before, he's a likeable guy. He comes in with a smile on his face, trains with a smile on his face and plays with a smile on his face.
"He knows us well, we know him well, we know he's got pace and a eye for goal. He leads the line, he's gets in behind, and he's a threat with his goal prowess.
"We thought it was a no brainer to bring in Jamar until the end of the season, it provides us an opportunity to know and understand the player even more whilst forming a basis for continuity once the loan period comes to an end with a view to a permanent deal at the end of it."
