More information on Pigott & Rea loan dealsSouthend United today announce that Joe Pigott and Glen Rea have returned to their parent clubs after their loan spells ended with the Blues.
Pigott initially joined Southend on loan in January last year scoring seven goals in 23 appearances including the memorable equaliser at Wembley in the League Two Play Off final against Wycombe Wanderers.
The striker then returned on loan again in the summer of 2015 from Charlton scoring five goals in all competitions.
Glen Rea came from Brighton & Hove Albion after impressing against Southend in the Capital One Cup first round at Roots Hall in August, the utility player pulled on a Blues shirt 16 times.
The Club are in discussions with both players and their Clubs as regards to the future.
