A mad March of Football at Roots Hall

24 February 2016

Cheer on the Blues in a crucial month at Roots Hall

Southend United will be on home turf on four occasions in March, as the season trickles towards its business end.

Phil Brown’s men are in the hunt for the play-off pack and will see their home form as vital in terms of maintaining a promotion push.

First up is Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday 1st March (7:45pm kick-off). The game under the lights will hopefully prove to be a spectacle for the home side against a struggling Alex side.

Southend United host Chesterfield at Roots Hall on Saturday 5th March (3pm kick-off), and Junior Blues members can go for FREE!

Under 16's can also attend the match for only £1 with a paying adult.

The maximum amount of under 16’s tickets that can be purchased for this price is two per paying adult. This deal applies to both season card and non-season card holders, and the child must be 16 or under at the time of purchase.

Next is neighbours Gillingham on Saturday 19th March (3pm). Gills like the Blues, are another side flying high at the top of the division so it should prove to be an interesting match-up at Roots Hall.

To round off a mad March of football, Southend welcome Sheffield United on Wednesday 30th March (7:45pm). This high-profile fixture will be televised by Sky Sports, which will be the third time the Blues have been shown on the channel this season.
