Blues captain on draw with Charlton
Anton Ferdinand felt his disappointment at the point at home to Charlton shows how far Blues have come this season.
Andrew Crofts struck late on to hand the Addicks a point, and deny Blues from making it 12 out of 12 points for the month of December.
And the Blues skipper also urged the fans to continue their fine support, after a crowd of upwards of 10,000 attended the last game of 2016.
"It’s the first time since I’ve been here that it’s been packed to the rafters and I thoroughly enjoyed it myself," he said.
"A message to the fans; I hope they continue to come and support us like they did today. Not that they haven’t all season, but numbers do matter.
"Today you saw some fantastic football from the lads and it was a very good game. Part of the reason was because it was packed to the rafters.
"We’re going into that dressing room disappointed that we’ve dropped two points and that’s the difference.
"That means we’re going in the right direction."
