Ben believes positives can be taken from the game despite the defeat to the leaders.
Southend United left back Ben Coker admitted defeat to Burton Albion was 'very disappointing'.
Blues' performance merited more than heading back to Essex with nothing to show for their efforts as Luke Prosser's own goal was the difference at the Pirelli Stadium.
“It was very disappointing,” the 26-year-old said after the game.
“We played some good stuff in the first half and in the second half and we have to dust ourselves down now.
“I hate coming here. They seem to be our bogey side and I don't know why it is. We need to put it right with work on the training pitch.
“We have another game on Tuesday and we need to get back to winning ways.
“Pross [Luke Prosser] was unlucky. I would have done the same in trying to hack it clear. It's just not gone the way he wanted it to go. We have to get on with it and learn from today.
And like his manager, Coker believes Blues can be pleased with the performance in Staffordshire.
“There will be positives to take. We're all frustrated at the minute but we know we can mix it with the best in the league. We are still positive but we need to take our chances now.
“It's another game on Tuesday and we look forward to it.”
