Left back relieved to get Wembley for the Final of the play-offs.
Southend United left back Ben Coker admitted he was relieved, as Blues earned another trip to Wembley Stadium with victory over Stevenage after extra time.
Coker won Man of the Match from Sky Sports, but a number of Blues players would have been in contention following a terrific evening, with goals coming from Ryan Leonard, Stephen McLaughlin and Michael Timlin
“It's a little bit of relief,” Coker reflected after the game at Roots Hall.
“We didn't want to take it to extra time but we ended doing it and got the result, which is the most important thing.
“We showed our character. We all know we had it in us and I think we showed everyone what sort of side we are, coming back from a very tough game at Stevenage and the same happening at Roots Hall.
“The groundstaff have done really well with the pitch. The zip on the pitch helped us play our game.”
And although Coker said he was wondering whether it would Blues night after Barry Corr's missed penalty, he cannot wait to play at the home of English football.
“When Barry missed the penalty, I did think whether it would be our day, but we kept believing and created plenty of chances. Fortunately, we took them and won the game.
“I think our fitness showed in extra time. Stevenage were flagging and we took advantage. I can't wait to get on the pitch at Wembley now!”
