Youngster joins Championship club's scholarship programme.
Southend United youth team player Cameron John has completed a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
The player will join the Wolves scholarship programme.
Blues Academy Manager Ricky Duncan said: “It’s a great move for Cameron, and a chance for him to follow in the footsteps of Dominic Iorfa, who, of course, was also with a youth system a few years back.
“We wish Cameron all the best. He’s got a great family and we’re certain he’ll go on to do very well with Wolves.
"Whilst we don't like losing our young players, I think it shows that we're doing things right when Championship sides sign them."
Southend United would like to wish Cameron all the best for the future.
