We look back on another successful Meet The Blues Day event.
The annual Meet The Blues Day event proved to be a huge success on Sunday, and the weather was with us!
The event was at Boots & Laces Training Ground, once again, and the day was basked in sunshine!
Fans flocked to watch the players have an open training session, before meeting their Southend United favourites for autographs and photos.
The kit was paraded by new signing Anthony Wordsworth and Jack Payne, with five luck Junior Blues being part of the launch as well.
Those involved in the kit launch were India Smith - 8, Archie Daley - 7, Elliott Murphy - 14, Ollie Soussana - 5 and Charlie Mackenzie – 10.
Five other Junior Blues had their photo taken with the play-off Final trophy and the team.
The five involved were Jack Buttifant - 8, Owen Argyle - 7, Luan Gjolena - 9, Isaacs Burgess - 8 and Ryan Long who was 9 on the day.
After this, the staff vs. legends game took place. The game finished 2-2, with Phil Brown – playing up front – scoring a penalty!
A raffle took place on the day, with the winning tickets listed below:
WHITE 492 (claimed)
PINK 276 (claimed)
Skipper John White said: "Once again, it was a really enjoyable time meeting all our supporters. It's always nice to give something back to the fans who back us throughout a season!"
We'll have an image gallery and video from the day coming either today or tomorrow.
