Brooks back for a second spell at Blues and has experience at Norwich and Falkirk.
Southend United are pleased to announce that Dale Brooks been appointed to the new role of under-21 coach at the Club.
Dale has a wealth of experience in coaching youngsters and has previously been with the likes of Norwich City and Falkirk.
He has been with the Club in the past and also had a stint with Cambridge United, where he worked with current Blues youth team coach Ricky Duncan.
Blues Chief Executive Steve Kavanagh said: “We’re really pleased to have Dale on board at the Football Club. He has years of experience in this role at clubs including Category 1 Clubs and, working closely with Ricky and Phil, he’ll play a big part in the development of more young players, strengthening the pathway to the first team from the academy, and following in the footsteps of Dan Bentley, Jack Payne and Ted Smith in recent years.”
