A match preview for Blues' home game against York City in Sky Bet League Two.
It's been a disappointing campaign for the Minstermen, which is surprising given their play-off place finish last season.
Starting the season with five consecutive draws, it took until the first week of September for York City to register their first victory – a 3-2 win away at Stevenage.
A poor run of form saw Nigel Worthington let go by the club, with Russ Wilcox coming in, in November 2014.
The Minstermen have failed to register a win in the last four games, prior to making the trip to Roots Hall.
They Said What?...
Phil Brown: “It would be a complete waste of time, effort and energy to come back to Roots Hall and not produce the same kind of performance. If we can win well or ugly, it will be another good test of character. On Saturday, we'll be looking to put on a show for the supporters and win the game.”
Adam Thompson: ““York on Saturday will be tough to break down. We want to win home and away. Teams come to us and defend when we are playing at home. We want to kickstart out season at home against them.”
