Match Preview: Oxford United vs. Southend United

16 January 2015

Blues will be looking continue their good record against Oxford United on Saturday, having won all of the last five games against the U's.

The Lowdown

Southend United head to the Kassam Stadium looking to continue their good record against Oxford United, with the Blues winning five of the last five meetings in all competitions when the two sides have met.

Oxford have surprisingly struggled for form this season, and find themselves in the lower half of the table.

However, Michael Appleton's side have picked up good wins against the likes of Northampton Town, Newport County, York City, Bury and Plymouth Argyle. The I's have won just four times at home this season, the last of which was back in early December.
