Midfielder to stay with the Bees initially until early March.
Transfer listed Southend United midfielder Conor Clifford has joined Conference outfit Barnet on a short-term loan deal.
The 23-year-old will initially remain at the Hive until Saturday 7th March.
Clifford was placed on the transfer list at the beginning of January and Blues boss Phil Brown says it's a 'good opportunity' for the Irishman.
“He's gone to a big club in the Conference in a bid to restart his career,” the boss said.
“They're favourites to get back in the Football League. It's a chance for him to go out on loan and play a few games, which is what Conor wants.
“Barnet are doing very well in the Conference, so it's a really good opportunity for Conor.
“Like Jason Wiliams, Conor's gone out purely because he needs to play football.”
