As has been covered in the local press Southend United and the Shrimpers Trust have teamed up to raise money for local lady Tracy Ralph, who suffered with pneumonia over Christmas, losing both her legs and part of her arms.

The Blues and the Trust were planning a fun charity fund raising event but having heard of Tracy’s plight the players and the Trust all agreed to focus the efforts to raise money for Tracy. The following members of the Southend United team have agreed to take part put themselves up for a possible waxing:

Phil Brown
John White
Ben Coker
Kevan Hurst
Mads Ibenfeldt
Luke Prosser
Ian Pettey (Kitman)

The individual who raises the largest amount will be selected for the waxing, so you can donate to worthy cause and do so in the knowledge that you can put your favourite (or not!) in the hands of “The Waxer”.

The Waxer being big Blues fan Suze Newton, from Serenity7 Nails and Beauty, she is a fully qualified beautician and has agreed to wax the person who gets the most donations.
