Match Preview: Stevenage vs. Southend United

20 February 2015

A match preview ahead of Southend United's trip to Broadhall Way in Sky Bet League Two.

Season so far…

Following a disappointing start to the season, Stevenage have upped their game recently and, at the time of going to print, are just outside the Sky Bet League Two play-offs.

Beginning with an opening day win over Hartlepool United, it wasn’t until the end of August when Graham Westley’s side won again – against AFC Wimbledon.

Stevenage lacked some real consistency heading into Christmas, but a profitable New Year period saw the Hertfordshire side win five games – against Exeter City, Dagenham & Redbridge, Cambridge United AFC Wimbledon and York City - and draw one in a great run.

Stevenage won 3-1 at Hartlepool United last week in Sky Bet League Two.

The Officials…
