Graham to become Phil Brown's assistant after penning fresh three-year contract.
Southend United are pleased to confirm that Graham Coughlan has signed a three-year-deal to become Assistant Manager to Phil Brown.
Graham originally joined the Club as a player back in 2010, before retiring in 2013 from playing, appearing over 30 times for the Blues, with a section as player/assistant manager before becoming assistant on a permanent basis.
Following Dave Penney's appointment as assistant for the last couple of seasons, Graham became first team coach, and is now back as boss Phil Brown's right hand man.
Coughlan said: “I'm pleased to be staying with Southend for the long-term future. I've enjoyed my time immensely, and get on well with the staff, players and the supporters.
“We want to improve and progress in the future and I'm thrilled to be a part of it here.”
