New NCS project tomorrow.
The participants of NCS are currently working on a project to give back to the community, and as part of their social action have decided to aid the Southend Community Event which is taking place at Priory Park on Wednesday 5th August between 11-4pm.
After much consideration the participants came to the conclusion that one way they could help is by providing the event with donations that could then be later won in a raffle. In doing so they would then be able to contribute to the event by raising money for their chosen charity, Special Baby Care Unit at the Southend University Hospital.
As previously mentioned, the participants are looking to provide donations for the event. However, they can only do so much and therefore would greatly appreciate if members of the community can aid in providing items that are suitable as a prize.
The NCS team will be setting up a ‘donation station’ between 10am and 2pm on Tuesday 4th August at the Shrimpers Bar in Roots Hall.
If you would like to donate anything that would be suitable as a raffle or tombola prize, please just bring your items to the donation station between 10-2pm in the Shrimpers Bar on Tuesday 4th August, or for more information please call Scott on 01702 341 351.
