Dan Bentley adds another couple of trophies to his collection!
Prior to kick off against Luton Town on Saturday, a number of Blues players were rewarded for their efforts this season, with the seasonal awards.
Last week we asked you to vote for your Player of the Season, with the top three each picking up an award.
We collected the votes, and in third place with 8% was midfielder Michael Timlin.
The runner-up for the award was our top scorer Barry Corr, who garnered 14% of the vote by the fans.
And the winner of the award was Daniel Bentley, who received a whopping 52% of your votes, following a season which has seen him break records with the amount of clean sheets.
The Players' Player of the Year – voted by the squad – was also awarded to Bentley, who also picked up the Community Player of the Year prize.
And finally, the Southend Echo Goal of the Season award, presented by Blues fan Ryan Williams, was awarded to David Worrall, for his stunning, match-winning free kick against his former club Bury, in the penultimate away game of the campaign.
