Team News: AFC Wimbledon vs. Southend United

Phil Brown makes five changes for Southend United's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie.

Gary Deegan came into the side to make his Blues debut, while Jack Payne was handed his second start of the campaign.

They were joined in a midfield three by Will Atkinson. Ryan Leonard dropped to the bench, while Conor Clifford was not involved.

In attack, Myles Weston was joined by Shaq Coulthirst and David Worrall, with Kevan Hurst and Barry Corr dropping out.

Daniel Bentley kept his place in goal, with Ted Smith on the bench, while Mads Ibenfeldt came in for the suspended Cian Bolger.

Adam Thompson missed out through injury.
