Programme: Jack Payne takes centre stage against Portsmouth

12 September 2014

Plenty of great content in Saturday's programme when Portsmouth visit Roots Hall.

Jack Payne has taken centre stage for Blues in their last two games, and he’ll take centre stage in Saturday’s programme when Portsmouth visit Roots Hall.

We sat down with Jack to discuss an incredible week for the youngster as he scored three goals in two games and made his first ever league start for the club.

He also discusses the faith shown in him by the likes of Ricky Duncan, the club’s academy manager, and says he’s determined to make himself a regular starter for the first-team.

We’ve also got the latest from Phil Brown and John White with their programme notes, Michael Timlin updates us on his injury, while Kevan Hurst takes on the ‘Random 100’.

Hurst also goes up against a fan in the Player vs. Fan quiz, while Chris Phillips continues his look back at the 2004-05 season.

Rob Craven brings us the latest from the under-18 side, while we take a look at our opponents on Saturday, Pompey.

Make sure you pick up a copy of the programme for £3 this Saturday.

Come on you Blues!
