We look ahead to Blues' trip to Bootham Crescent to take on York City
The Lowdown
Southend United are on the road again on Saturday as Phil Brown takes his side north to do battle with York City. Blues will be looking to continue their winning run having beaten both Cheltenham Town on Tuesday and at home to Portsmouth last Saturday.
York have had an inconsistent start to their Sky bet League Two campaign after suffering play-off heartache in the division last season, having won once, lost once and drawn six of their opening eight games. Nigel Worthington’s side drew at home to Luton Town on Tuesday evening.

The Inside View
Phil Brown: ““We've returned to our clean sheet mentality and it's the work on the training ground that's doing it, We go up to York buoyed by the fact we've got two wins and two clean sheets under our belts. We know it'll be a tough game, they have a number of players who are very capable of this level.”
Nigel Worthington: “"It has always been a competitive fixture whilst I have been at the club and I don't expect this match to be any different. We've only lost one of our last 25 league matches.”
