A look ahead to Southend United's game against Bury at Roots Hall in Sky Bet League Two
Southend United take on play-off chasing Bury at Roots Hall on Saturday, aiming to get back to winning ways, against the Shakers.
David Flitcroft's men got off to a disappointing start to their Sky Bet League Two campaign, suffering defeat to Cheltenham Town, but got their first win of the season at the second time of asking, beating Hartlepool United away before travelling to Luton Town and earning a valuable point against the Hatters.
Narrow wins against both Plymouth Argyle and Accrington Stanley followed as Bury then went on a six-game unbeaten run.
Defeat at Exeter City halted that run but they've since beaten Tranmere Rovers and Portsmouth but were hammered 5-0 at Shrewsbury Town in midweek.

The Inside View
Phil Brown: “They'll be smarting from a strange old week of beating Portsmouth 3-0 and then losing 5-0 to Shrewsbury. They have a good side there. I know David Flitcroft well and it should be a good spectacle.”
David Flitcroft: “There'll be some fight and some spirit on Saturday because there wasn't much of it on Tuesday night. The best teams have got bounce-back-ability and if we're going to be one of the best in this division then we need to show that we've got it.”
