Phil Brown hopes for your support at Roots Hall on Saturday
Phil Brown has urged supporters to be at Roots Hall on Saturday as Blues end the regular season against Burton Albion, kick-off 3pm.
Blues’ play-off spot is already secured, but a win against the Brewers would potentially give Brown’s side home advantage in the second-leg.
That does depend on York City’s result at Scunthorpe United, but Brown is hoping supporters turn out in force and help Blues end the regular season in style.
He said: “It’s been a good season so far, but we want to make it a great season and we want to end the regular season on a high.
“It’s a big game against Burton Albion because it is one of the sides we could face in the play-offs and we’d like to put a marker down.
“It’s important we have a big crowd at Roots Hall on Saturday because it’s a chance for us to lift ourselves into fifth place in the table.
"Home advantage in the second-leg would be great, and the only way we can do that is by winning on Saturday.
“The support has been superb all season and I’m sure it will be again on Saturday. If you haven’t got your ticket yet, please do come along and support the lads.
“Every one of us would like to thank you for your support home and away this season, and while there’s the play-offs to come, it’d be great to end the regular campaign with a positive display, and the three points!”
