Ryan Leonard is captain as Blues make two changes for the trip to Plymouth Argyle

Phil Brown made two changes from the 4-1 win against Millwall for the trip to Plymouth Argyle in Sky Bet League 2.

Mark Phillips came in for the injured John White, as Ryan Leonard moved to right-back.

The other change saw Kevan Hurst come in for Adam Thompson, with Will Atkinson moving back from right-wing into the midfield three.

Bedsente Gomis was on the bench for the first time having signed a week ago.

Brown said it was his toughest selection of the season, saying: “It was extremely difficult, the hardest of the season so far.

“We performed so well against Millwall having made changes to the side so it was tough to decide today.

“Ryan Leonard has performed very well in recent weeks and is a permanent captain in the making in my opinion. He deserved it.”

Blues: Bentley; Leonard, Phillips, Prosser, Coker; Atkinson, Clifford, Timlin; Hurst, Straker, Corr.

Subs: Payne, Smith, Gomis, Thompson, Eastwood, Woodrow, Laird.
