Three changes made by Phil Brown for the FA Cup tie against Millwall
Southend United manager Phil Brown made three changes for the visit of Millwall in the FA Cup third round.
Cauley Woodrow, Kevan Hurst and Mark Phillips all came out from the side that beat Portsmouth 2-1 on Wednesday.
In their place came Conor Clifford, Barry Corr and Adam Thompson.
There was no place for new signing Bedsente Gomis in the 18-man squad.
That meant Blues continued with their 4-3-3 formation with Anthony Straker and Will Atkinson in support of Barry Corr.
Thompson came into the back four alongside Luke Prosser while Clifford moved into the midfield three.
Blues: Bentley; White, Thompson, Prosser, Coker; Clifford, Atkinson, Leonard, Timlin, Straker; Corr.
Subs: Smith, Laird, Phillips, Eastwood, Hurst, Payne, Woodrow.
