Andrews Sykes help club out by fitting new boiler at Boots & Laces

The Club would like to say a huge thank you to Andrews Sykes who have installed a new boiler at Boots & Laces.

The boiler at the training ground packed up on Wednesday last week, but thanks to Andrews Boiler Hire, hot water and heating was back up and working again by Friday.

With facilities back to normal, the players were able to come in and prepare properly ahead of two big home games.

Southend United manager Phil Brown was grateful for the efforts of Andrews Sykes.

He said: “We got back from Portugal to find there was no heating or hot water after the boiler had run its course.

“Steve Kavanagh got on to Andrews Sykes and the next day they were down to fit the new boiler having come on the day to check what they needed.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to Andrews Sykes for their efforts to get us back up and running with hot water as quickly as possible.

“It allowed us to get back to training on the Friday to prepare for Hartlepool and Exeter city accordingly.

“Once again, everyone at the club would like to thank Andrews Sykes.”
