The 20-year-old will be contracted to Blues until 2016 following playing time this season.
Southend United midfielder Jack Payne has triggered an extension to his Blues contract having started ten league games this season.
Jack will now be contracted to Blues until the summer of 2016.
This campaign has really seen the 20-year-old kick on and his manager Phil Brown was delighted by the news that a key player will be contracted to the Club for a longer period of time.
“I'm over the moon at the news regarding Jack,” the boss said.
“He's been another one who has come through the youth system and shows the hard work that goes into the youth development at Southend United. He's a big player for us and he's a young man who is just at the start of what I'm sure will be an exciting career.
“We've seen Daniel Bentley come through to be in the first team and now an outfield player has come through to play regularly, which shows we're heading in the right direction.”
