Southend United suffered a late defeat to a strong QPR side in a behind closed doors game
Blues suffered defeat in a behind closed doors match against QPR earlier today, losing the game 3-2.
Harry Redknapp’s side included the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Niko Kranjcar and Sean Wright-Phillips, and they took the lead through Kranjcar after 20 minutes.
However, Blues found an equaliser through John-Joe O’Toole soon after, the midfielder tapping home following a spill by the goalkeeper.
With half time looming, Rangers restored the lead through an excellent Wright-Phillips volley.
But Blues found a way back into the game again, as Shaq Coulthirst crossed to Myles Weston, who slotted home, before Reece Grego-Cox won the game to the R’s late on.
