Team News: Southend United vs. AFC Wimbledon

19 August 2014

Phil Brown kept the same side for the third league game in a row as Southend United welcomed AFC Wimbledon to Roots Hall.

After wins against Accrington Stanley and Stevenage, Blues' boss stuck with the same XI that impressed in both games.

That meant Blues went with the 4-2-4 formation again, with Ryan Leonard and Conor Clifford the midfield two.

Barry Corr and Myles Weston were supported by Shaquile Coulthirst and Kevan Hurst.

There was one change on the bench with Ellis Brown replacing Isaac Layne.

Will Atkinson and Michael Timlin were the only two missing through injury.

Blues: Bentley; White, Coker, Prosser, Bolger; Leonard, Clifford; Coulthirst, Hurst, Corr, Weston

Subs: Barnard, P. Smith, Ibenfeldt, Thompson, Worrall, Payne, Brown.
