Blues unchanged for game against Accrington Stanley

Southend United manager Phil Brown named an unchanged side for the game against Accrington Stanley on Easter Monday.

Following the win against Rochdale on Good Friday, Brown went with the same XI, keeping the 4-3-3 formation that was so successful at Spotland.

The only change came on the bench as Conor Clifford replaced Marc Laird.

Jacob Murphy made his first home start since joining on loan from Norwich City, while Jamar Loza was on the bench, with Barry Corr the central striker.

Kevan Hurst made his 100th appearance for the club.

Blues: Bentley; White, Coker, Sokolik, Egan; Timlin, Leonard, Atkinson; Murphy, Hurst, Corr.

Subs: Chambers, Prosser, Eastwood, Loza, Straker, Clifford, Barnard.
