Ryan Leonard says Blues must have a good week of work on the training ground ahead of Rochdale
Ryan Leonard says Blues must regroup and go again following Saturday’s setback against AFC Wimbledon.
Blues were unbeaten in six heading into the game, but Jack Midson’s penalty was enough to end that run as the Dons took all three points.
Leonard says Blues must put Saturday’s defeat behind them and have a good week on the training ground ahead of a bumper weekend of action.
Blues head to Rochdale on Friday before welcoming Accrington Stanley on Monday at Roots Hall.
He said: “We’ve got to put Saturday behind us and really kick on this week in training ahead of two tough games at the weekend.
“It’s an important weekend because after it there’ll be just two games left of the current season.
“We’ve got a tough run-in, three of the four teams left are above us, but we never make things easy so it makes for an interesting few games.
“It could help us, teams will have a go at us and we’ll be able to do the same back.
“Saturday was frustrating but we’ve got to move on quickly and make sure we keep the confidence and belief we showed in recent games.
“We’re at the right end of the table, fighting for a play-off place and a trip to Wembley so we’re all looking forward to these last four games.”
