Under-18 goalkeeper Ted Smith has been called up to England’s under-18’s for their game against Hungary.

Ted will spend a week with the national side’s under-18 squad at St George’s Park between Tuesday 8th October and Monday 14th October.

The goalkeeper was named captain by Ricky Duncan at the start of this season and has put in some impressive performances for Blues’ youth.

Ted has progressed through the academy here at Roots Hall and you can play your part in helping more youngsters go on to impress for club and country.

The Blues Lottery is a fantastic opportunity for you to do this for just £10 a month. For more information on the Blues Lottery, please click here.

A full interview with Ted and Ricky Duncan on the young goalkeeper’s call up will be in the Bristol Rovers programme.

Academy defender Jordan Gabriel has also been called up for international duty.

He will join up with Scotland's under-16 side for a training camp on October 3rd.
