The Southend United Community & Educational Trust are on a recruitment drive and there is no better time to join in!
Firstly, we are looking to recruit 30 people onto the Football League endorsed National Citizen Service project which helps you build and develop skills for the working world and for life.
Here you will meet new friends and enjoy educational challenges. The course involves workshops at the football club where you will work closely with our coaches and others to help you understand the challenges of the working world whilst developing yourself as a sports leader.
Remember though, this isn't just a classroom based course; the fun really starts when you get to take YOUR projects into your community.
The course is open to those in years 12 and 13 and starts this autumn. The course runs for one week and five Saturday mornings and for £35 all activities and food are included.
If you or any of your friends and family are interested then please email us at email@example.com.
We have 20 places for our BTEC Level 2 sports programme which runs full time over 12 weeks for four days a week.
The course will teach you about sports performance, nutrition and about coaching, alongside learning about sexual health, alcohol and drug abuse.
The course includes practical sports; fitness testing and all lessons are held in the intoxicating football environment of Roots Hall.
On completion of the course, we guarantee that you will get an interview for an apprenticeship.
The course will suit those 16-18 year olds not in education or those looking for a change in their current course.
If you are interested then please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
