Barry Corr on facing former flatmate Ryan Cresswell plus much more in this Friday's matchday programme
Barry Corr is looking forward to coming up against former flatmate Ryan Cresswell when Blues take on Fleetwood Town on Friday night.
Speaking to the club’s matchday programme, Barry said: “I think everyone knows what to expect from myself and Cressy in terms of the way we play the game so there’ll be no surprises on the night.
“We obviously came up against each other a lot in training last season but it’ll be a different prospect tonight as we both look to help our team pick up three points.
“Cressy is a good player and Fleetwood are a good side so it’s going to be a tough test for us on Friday night but I’m confident we can get back to winning ways.
“Fleetwood are doing well in the league this season and will probably come here to play and pick up the three points, which should make for an entertaining, open game.
“Other teams this season have come here and shown us respect and caught us out on the counter attack, but it might be a bit different against Fleetwood.
“I expect Fleetwood to be right up there come the end of the season but if we can pick up the three points here this evening it’ll give everyone at the club a big lift.”
Elsewhere in Friday night’s programme, youth team midfielder Freddie Gard talks about how he’s following the same path as Jack Payne.
There’s the latest from Phil Brown and John White in their exclusive columns, while we get the lowdown on our opponents, the Cod Army.
All this, and more, for just £3, so make sure you pick up a copy of Blues from the programme hut or from around the ground.
