Over 8,400 tickets have now been sold for the game against York City on Saturday
Having sold 8,400 tickets already ahead of Saturday’s game against York City, we’re expecting a packed Roots Hall when we welcome Nigel Worthington’s side.
Tickets are still on sale for Saturday’s game and there is plenty of availability in certain areas of the ground, but we would like to politely ask supporters to try and purchase their tickets in advance if possible, whether that be on Friday, or early on Saturday.
The Blues Box Office and Club Shop will be open from 10am for you to purchase your tickets and kit yourself out before the game.
We also have plenty of activities for children who would like to head down to Roots Hall early. The EA Sports Dugout and the Southend United Community & Educational Trust with some fun games will be in the main car park, and there’ll also be a some non-playing members of the first-team squad heading over to meet he fans.
Of course, mascots Sammy and Elvis will be on hand to meet you all so make sure you give them a high five if you see them around the ground.
Programmes will be on sale from the north-east corner of the ground in the programme hut priced at £3, while sellers will also be all around the ground.
Adam Duffill will also be performing before the game and will kick-off his performance at about 2:40pm.
If you are collecting tickets purchased already on the day, these will also be available from the north-east corner ticket office.
There are plenty of bars around the ground for you to get some food and drink, while we’ll also be handing out crisps and chocolate to our younger supporters around the ground.
It may be a cold one, so make sure you take a look at our first time fans guide for where you can purchase a cup of tea or a burger to warm you up – hopefully the football will do the same!
We look forward to welcoming you all to Roots Hall tomorrow to cheer on Phil Brown and the team to another three points.
