Midfielder could make his 100th appearance for Blues against York this afternoon
Midfielder Michael Timlin will make his 100th appearance for Southend United if he plays any part in today’s game against York City.
Timlin, who made his debut for the club against Morecambe in September 2010 during a loan spell with Blues from Swindon Town, has started Blues’ last three games.
The 28-year-old made 35 appearances for the club last season, before his campaign was cut short by a leg break against Leyton Orient in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
He signed a new deal with the club prior to the season getting underway, and made his first appearance of the campaign in the 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield.
Defender Luke Prosser will make his 101st appearance today if selected and he’s the cover star of this weekend’s programme.
Prosser signed off his 100th appearance at Exeter City last weekend with a clean sheet and the three points, and will be hoping for more of the same when York City visit Roots Hall.
